Concrete Falls from CTA Viaduct Crushing Cars in Rogers Park

Rogers Park residents waking up to a scary sight as vehicles were crushed by portions of concrete falling from a viaduct.

Around 4:30am on April 18, residents heard a loud bang they say sounded like a car crash followed by two car alarms going off.

That crash was a small portion of the eastern wall of a viaduct that holds the CTA tracks at 7100 N Glenwood Avenue.
