The Jane Byrne Interchange construction will continue for its third week with the same closures as before. However, there will be longer hours for the 15-minute interval closures on the Dan Ryan and Kennedy Expressways.

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced that permanent lane closures and reductions are in place for the ongoing reconstruction of the interchange between the Stevenson Expressway (Interstate 55) and Lake Shore Drive (U.S. 41) in Chicago.

Jane Byrne Interchange Closures Beginning August 19th

The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that several lane closures on the expressway system surrounding the Jane Byrne Interchange in Chicago have been scheduled for four weekends starting August, 21st, 2015.
