A northside artist along with her four children found a simple way to create a big community connection during an isolating time.
An art therapist on Chicago’s north side is growing a not-so-average garden with the help of her neighbors.
Alli Rogoway and her four children started their rock garden during the first week of stay at home.
The north side artist says it’s about creating community and connection at a time when people feel so isolated.
The garden is being tended to by people walking by. Neighbors take a rock, bring it home, paint it, and then return it to the garden.
It’s growing, both physically and on Instagram. You can see it and get inspired by visiting https://instagram.com/wellingtonrockgarden.
