In addition to this blog, I have kept (well, have tried to keep) a running blog on another popular blog site. It’s very difficult to use, so I never update it. Anyway, there is no doubt that I love to run. And there’s no doubt that I have taken a sip of the “ultra-runner kool-aid,” and have extended my distances this year from the regular 26.2 marathon. Back in June of 2012, I decided to head out for the 38 mile fun run, which was the last leg of the Kettle Moraine 100 Mile Endurance Challenge. The run started at 7pm, and it was quite scary.
